Secret Projects

Four surprise novels revealed during Sanderson's record-breaking 2022 Kickstarter campaign, plus Isles of the Emberdark revealed later. Three are Cosmere (Tress, Yumi, The Sunlit Man) and one is non-Cosmere (Frugal Wizard). Each is standalone and set on a different world.

These are some of Sanderson's most experimental and personal works — Tress is a whimsical fairy tale, Yumi is a body-swap story inspired by Korean culture, The Sunlit Man is a fast-paced action thriller, and Isles of the Emberdark is darker horror-tinged fantasy. They're all narrated by a familiar Cosmere character.
